Helpers: What are access levels
Access levels are the permissions you provide to a director, teacher, music administrator, or helper on the administrative side of Charms.
What each option means
- Head Director
- This is the person that oversees the Charms account. This access is set by Client Services.
- The Head Director has access to all areas of Charms.
- Assistant - ONLY USED BY SCHOOLS IN TEXAS
- This person has the second most access level in Charms, right behind the Head Director.
- We recommend this person be "CCed" on all emails.
- Assistant access provides unlimited access to all areas in Charms
- The assistant's name, email address, and title (if one is added to the helper profile) is automatically available to parents and students on the login page of Charms
- If entering Texas UIL events, a person will need assistant access.
- All Access
- This person has the third most access level in Charms.
- The all-access user has access to all areas of Charms except for Texas UIL.
- If the all-access user would like their name, email address and title visible on the Charms login page, the box for this will need to be marked during helper setup.
- Single Access Levels
- This is designed to assign specific access areas to a director, teacher, music admin, or helpers
- A single access level will only have access to the area or areas assigned to them
- Read Only
- A helper can have full or limited access to Charms without the ability to update any screen
