Forms: Collect student forms

Charms provides several ways to collect student forms.

Collect forms by form

On the Main Sections menu, click Communicate, click Student Forms, and then click Collect by Form.
Select the form.
Check each student who has returned the form. Charms automatically saves your selection.

Collect forms by student

On the Main Sections menu, click Communicate, click Student Forms, and then click Collect by Student.
Select the student from the Select student list.
Select the checkbox to the right of the form being turned in.

Collect forms using barcodes

Charms can generate barcode labels for your forms. The barcode labels can be printed and adhered to the document your form is linked to. When the student turns in the document, you can scan it in Charms and you are set.

Create barcode labels

On the Main Sections menu, click Communicate and then click Student Forms.
On the Set up Forms to Collect page, click the Form Detail tab.
Locate the form and click
. Charms opens a file with barcodes for the form.
Print the barcode labels and adhere them to the document the form is linked to (or references).

Collect forms

On the Main Sections menu, click Communicate, click Student Forms, and then click Collect by Student.
Select the student from the Select student list.
Place your cursor in the Scan Form field and scan the barcode.

Collect forms globally

Collecting forms globally is a way to pull up all students by form and mark their forms collected in one click.

On the Main Sections menu, click Communicate and then click Student Forms.
On the Set up Forms to Collect page, click the Form Detail tab.
Locate the form and click

You can click
, or individually select the students who turned their form in. Charms automatically saves students as you select them.
