Miscellaneous ledger: Transfer funds from the miscellaneous ledger

The miscellaneous ledger is a good place to accrue extra money that you can apply to student bills or payments that come up infrequently, or unexpectedly. It is also a good way to save enough money to pay for fixed payment items. When you have accrued enough money, you can transfer funds to applicable items.

When you transfer funds between student ledgers, you are just shifting credit from one student ledger to another and no money needs to be posted to your account ledger. So in most cases, you will leave these defaults. However, if you are moving monies between account ledgers, make the applicable selections for the From Account and To Account fields.
