Recording Studio: Students Using The Recording Studio

USING THE RECORDING STUDIO

• Select the RECORDING STUDIO icon   

  

  
  

NOTE: Ensure your microphone is ENABLED (Turned on)

Options in the recording studio                                            

RECORD

1. You can record anything you would like by selecting the RECORD button                                         

   

   
   

2. To stop the recording, select the RECORD button again                                                        

   

3. Save your recording by selecting SAVE TAKE 1

4. You can clear your recordings by selecting CLEAR ALL                                                                  

   

5. You can record multiple takes by repeating the process

ASSIGNMENTS

1. Select the ASSIGNMENTS option                                                        

   

2. Select the ASSIGNMENT you will be recording                                                       

   

3. You will be taken back to the RECORDING STUDIO MAIN PAGE                                              

   

4. Select the RECORD button                                                                                                                            

   

   
   

5. To stop the recording, select the RECORD button again                                                   

   

   
   
6. SATISFIED WITH THE RECORDING, select SAVE TAKE 1 and the recording will be uploaded to the assignment

7. NOT SATISFIED WITH THE RECORDING, select CLEAR ALL and then you can record another take for the assignment                                                                         

   

ACCOMPANIMENT

1. To record with an ACCOMPANIMENT

2. Select the ACCOMPANIMENT option                                     

   

3. Select the ACCOMPANIMENT you want to record with                                 

   

4. Select the RECORD button                                                                                                                                

   

   
   

5. To stop the recording, select the RECORD button again                                        

   

6. SATISFIED WITH THE RECORDING, select SAVE TAKE 1                              

   

7. Enter a RECORDING NAME and select SAVE RECORDING                                      

   

8. NOT SATISFIED WITH THE RECORDING, select CLEAR ALL and then you can record another take for the assignment                                                          

   

RESET STUDIO

1. Select RESET STUDIO                                                                               

   

2. The RESET STUDIO option provides a fresh start to a new recording task

UPLOAD EXISTING MP3/MP4 FILE

1. Select the UPLOAD EXISTING MP3/MP4 FILE option                                               

   

2. Enter FILE NAME                                                                   

   

3. Select CHOOSE FILE
4. Select UPLOAD

UPLOADED RECORDINGS

1. When you create a recording or upload an MP3 file, the file will be logged by school year at the bottom of the recording studio
