Advance Forms

This section walks you through handling your forms in preparation for the new school year.

Prior to closing out the forms, review the form actions below.

IMPORTANT: If you have questions about the selection that is best for your organization, please reach out to Charms support prior to making selections and closing out the section. When you save your changes, this section is locked and you cannot make updates. Be sure you are confident in your selections.

 

Review The Forms Actions

  • Close: Closes the form and removes it from your Charms account. Use this option if you will not be using the form next school year and would like to delete the form.
  • Recreate: Creates a clone of the form in the new school year and removes any collected statuses.
  • Continue: Means you are continuing to collect the form in the new school year and want to keep track of forms currently collected.

    Example: You began collecting permission slips for a trip you will take next school year


Begin Closing The Advance Form Section

  1. On the end of year page, find Advance Forms and click "Start"


  2. Next to each form, select an action.
TIPRecreate creates a clone of the form in the new school year and removes any collected statuses.  Continue means you are continuing to collect the form in the new school year and want to keep track of forms currently collected.

  1. Click "Review Changes"

  2. On the Confirm Form Actions page, review your selections. If you are satisfied with the selections, click Save. If not, click Back and walk through the steps again.

IMPORTANT: When you save your changes, this section is locked and you cannot make updates. Be sure you are confident in your selections.
